New pupils are entered for basic education during the year when the child turns seven years old. The instructions for entering are sent to the homes in the beginning of January.

The guardian of children of compulsory schoolage moving to Vaasa can contact the Basice education office for enrolement to school or fill in an electronic form.

Wilma

Wilma is the web interface for the student administration program Primus and for the schedule program Kurre 7. This Wilma license is owned by Vaasan opetusvirasto.

In Wilma a student can register for courses, check grades, read announcements and communicate with teachers.

In Wilma a teacher can grade students, register absences and update personal information. Teacher can also communicate with students and guardians.

Guardians can see and clear absences, communicate with teachers, and read announcements.

Wilma is also used by school personnel, administration and workplace instructors.
