All services on the website are integrated directly from the Finnish Service Catalogue(you will be directed to another service). The website was developed as part of the EU-funded Prima Botnia project, and further improvements will continue throughout 2025.

How to Use the Wellbeing Guide

Navigating the Website

The website is divided into eight main themes, which can be accessed via the main menu at the top of the page. In addition to the menu, you can navigate using the breadcrumb trail at the top of each page.

At the top of the page, you will find language selection buttons (Finnish, Swedish) if a translation is available. If no translation exists, the link will direct you to the homepage. English-language pages will be available in spring 2025.

Clicking the Wellbeing Guide for Ostrobothnia button in the upper-left corner will take you to the homepage of the service. At the bottom of each page, there is a link to the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia’s main website, the feedback form, the accessibility statement, and this ”About the Website” section. Each page also includes a “Back to Top” button.

Search Function

A service search function is located at the top of every page. You can search for services using keywords, municipality, target group and/or payment requirements. All service descriptions come directly from the Finnish Service Catalogue and are written by the respective service providers.

Attached Files

Some pages contain links to PDF documents hosted on external websites. These PDFs can be read in a browser or with a dedicated PDF reader.

Responsive Design

The website adapts to different screen sizes. It is accessible on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and larger screens, ensuring usability and full functionality across all devices. The content remains the same regardless of the device used.

Instructions for Service Providers

All services on the website are integrated directly from the Finnish Service Catalogue (FSC). If an organisation wants its services to be included in FSC, it must first apply for access permission from the FSC(you will be directed to another service). The FSC access application is submitted through the Suomi.fi service management website.

Another option is to describe services in Lähellä.fi(you will be directed to another service), a national digital platform for NGOs that provides details about various organisations and their services. For more information, contact: info@lahella.fi

During 2025, the Prima Botnia project will assist service providers in describing their services. Contact us if you want to make your organisation’s services visible or if a service you described is missing from the Wellbeing Guide.
